Hello,

WaPo: "Democrats' dream agenda of pushing through a large new economic stimulus bill, strengthening the Affordable Care Act and paring back the 2017 tax cuts could face stiff resistance after Republicans greatly outperformed expectations in [the] election."

Mitch McConnell could potentially be the greatest obstacle for Democrats in 2021 if he keeps his Republican Senate majority. McConnell has already maintained that keeping his far-right agenda while in power is his top priority, and some Democrats predict he will "Merrick Garland every single Cabinet nominee" put forward by Biden.

That is, if we let him. If Democrats win the two runoff Senate races in Georgia, McConnell would officially lose his throne as Senate Majority Leader.

Some moderate Democrats are already "coming to terms" with a Republican Senate, claiming that we will see a "new era of cooperation" from Republicans -- but we know better. McConnell doesn't have the word 'cooperation' in his vocabulary. A Democratic Senate would ensure that Biden's agenda actually takes effect, so we're not giving up on these races -- especially now that Cook Political has reported that "counties and suburbs of Atlanta are moving at light speed away from Republicans."
