Folks,

When I was younger, I lost three fingers on my left hand in a meat grinding accident. I don’t even remember putting my hand there. But I sure as heck remember rushing 12 miles to a local hospital — and then another 25 miles to a bigger hospital in Havre.

For years, my left hand was sore and painful, but now I can hardly feel a thing and I have complete use of those two remaining fingers.

Looking back, I was fortunate to be able to access the care I needed.

That’s why I’m fighting as hard as I can to make sure folks across the country have access to life-saving care, especially in rural communities.

But right now, the Trump administration and Washington Republicans are trying to rip away our health care — in the middle of a pandemic.

Today, the Supreme Court began their hearings on a lawsuit regarding the Affordable Care Act that could sabotage our system and strip health care from millions of folks with pre-existing conditions.

Now more than ever, we must come together to protect our health care. Will you sign my emergency petition to demand the Supreme Court uphold the Affordable Care Act? [[link removed]]

If Republicans get their way, millions of Americans will be left without access to affordable health care.

We cannot play politics with people’s lives. That is why we must do everything in our power to protect our health care system during this critical time.

Thanks for signing,

Jon
