While the election may be behind us, our work is far from done. To address long-standing inequities and injustices — which were only exacerbated by the Trump administration these past four years — and set our communities on a pathway to healing, we must be precise in our legislating, intentional in our advocacy, and unapologetic in our pursuit of bold, progressive change.
That is why I am proud to sign onto the Working Families Party’s People’s Charter — a promise to fight for policies that meet the scale and scope of the crises we face, center the lived experiences of people, and root out the deeply entrenched inequities impacting communities nationwide.
