Hi there, John -

I’m reaching out because we have a big Federal Election Commission (FEC) deadline at the end of this month. All of our contributions will be aggregated and reported to the FEC. As a challenger to a congressman who has been in office for over 30 years, it’s important for us to have good numbers in our first fall filing.

We need to raise $30,000 by the end of the month. If everyone who receives this email chips in between $5 and $20, we can hit our goal today! Can I count on you? ([link removed])

Our fundraising numbers will show the vitality of our grassroots campaign. Our campaign has already reached tens of thousands of voters, but we need to raise money to continue to grow our team, produce a campaign video, and continue our strong outreach.

I've been so empowered by the the support of friends and supporters from all over the country. Thank you for helping build a movement excited about the progressive change we're going to bring to Westchester, the Bronx, and America.
