John,
The last four months have been a marathon of activity as people across the Caring Majority have come together to fight for our families, our communities, and ourselves. While we put our all into Getting Out the Vote for the election, we know that the work doesn't stop just because it’s over.
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court is hearing a case that could end the Affordable Care Act (ACA), which has guaranteed health care to 20 million people across the country. [1] Caregivers, those who rely on care and support, and everyone in the Caring Majority need affordable and accessible healthcare.
We want to know, as someone in the Caring Majority, what has the ACA meant to you? Share your experience with us so that we can show what affordable health care means for all of us.

We have come together during this pandemic in Zoom calls and sometimes in the streets to hold community, including to declare that #NoBodyisDisposable and #BlackLivesMatter. Let’s come together again to share why we need the ACA.

As a cancer survivor myself, this attack from the right on health care is personal. If the ACA is repealed I run the risk of not getting health care again - I could be denied because of a preexisting condition and be forced to cover my medical expenses out of pocket. Anyone who has stood at the pharmacy line debating whether you can afford the prescription you need knows the terror I'm thinking about now.
So we need YOU to share your story - why is the ACA so important to you? Do you have preexisting conditions? Does your loved one not get health care through their job? Do you think healthcare is a human right? Tell us!

We'll be sharing stories and having a tweet storm on Tuesday, November 10, to show that the people - you, me, our friends, our families, and the Caring Majority - believe in the ACA and a future where everyone gets the health care they deserve.
Share your story today to help the effort!
