The presidential race is behind us,
John.

Donald Trump has been defeated and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be our
next President and Vice President.

We know it was a long week – and a long election season,
John. But we have one more major
hurdle we need to cross, and we’re asking for your help.

Without control of the Senate, it will be an uphill battle to get any of
the measures we need passed including a COVID-19 relief bill, action on
climate, and much more.

On January 5, 2021, two Senate runoff elections will take place in Georgia
that will determine majority control in the Senate. These will be
extremely competitive races with the GOP throwing millions of corporate
PAC money to win.

We’ve set a goal to raise $100,000 to support grassroots voter outreach in
Georgia to help power our victory. Not only are we raising money, we’re
going to put the full power of our organizing behind these races too.

There is a lot of work to do to register new Georgia voters who have
turned 18 since Election Day, and to make sure that every eligible voter
knows how and where to cast their ballot. We also need to train more
volunteers to combat disinformation.

The New Georgia Project’s goal is to register all eligible, unregistered
citizens of color in Georgia by the end of the decade. As of September
2019, NGP has registered almost half a million Georgians, in all 159 of
Georgia's counties.

Women’s March is gearing up to start weekly text banks to Georgia voters
as well as organizing Women’s Marchers in the state to do door-to-door
canvassing.

start preparing now for January 5th.

We only have 56 days to pull this off,
John. These runoff elections
will have major implications for what we can achieve in the next two
years, so the stakes couldn’t be higher.
