Hi,
The votes have been counted. The results are clear. With a strong majority of both the popular vote and the electoral college, Joe Biden has won a clear mandate to lead our country.
This means a brighter future for millions of American families -- a future we fought, worked, and voted into existence. However, true to form, Trump is still refusing to acknowledge his crystal-clear defeat.
Trump is only delaying the inevitable. The American people have spoken and in January, Joe Biden will be inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States. Our new president and vice president will act swiftly to confront the crises we face -- containing the coronavirus, delivering relief to families, and rebuilding our economy. They will expand access to healthcare, create jobs, and fight for racial justice.
This is the change our country needs, and in the past month, 74 million Americans went to the polls to demand it. By refusing to concede, Trump is delaying the transition we need to hit the ground running and enact the will of the people. That runs counter to democracy itself. And in our democracy, Trump does not have that right.
We need to make sure he knows it.
There is a wave of justice sweeping over our country right now, and every single one of us can push it forward.
Adelante,
