Dear John,

I’ll keep this short and to the point. I have to. The audit team and I have been in non-stop contact with election officials across the country, gearing up for the vote counting to start. Meanwhile, my Interim Co-Director Cris and our in-state experts are working around the clock with our partners at Election Protection ([link removed]) , while our research and communications teams field questions from the public on what to expect ([link removed]) on Election Day and after.

Without supporters like you, we wouldn’t be where we are right now. But once the polls close tomorrow night, our to-do list only gets longer. Voters will be looking for evidence-based assurance of the results, and we need to be there: to help guide the audits ([link removed]) , to evaluate potential technology issues, and to help sort out the normal ups and downs of the election process from real problems.
