Gray wolf

Hi John,

Days before the election, Trump and his anti-wildlife allies stripped Endangered Species Act protections from gray wolves across most of the country.

Now the Center's launched a legal action to reverse that cruel move.

Our fight for wolves will not stop until these protections are fully restored and wolves are back on the path to recovery.

Please support this battle by giving to the Saving Life on Earth Fund. All donations will be doubled.

The Trump administration took away protection from gray wolves across the lower 48, even though these beautiful creatures remain persecuted almost wherever they roam.

In the first week of January, this deadly rule will permit states to allow trophy hunts and expand wolf killing across the country. So we're going to court to stop it.

States will soon take over wolf management — and we've already seen what their gruesome "management" means. Snipers gun down wolves from helicopters. Pups are killed in their dens. Bounties are paid for the slaughter.

And with federal protection lifted, states like Wisconsin could immediately begin trophy hunts. Those hunts must be stopped and this new rule erased.

This fight is critical and strikes at the heart of our decades-long work to save species on the brink of extinction.

We won't stop fighting for wolves — against this administration or any that comes after.

But we can't do it alone. Please help today by making a matched a gift to the Saving Life on Earth Fund.

For the wild,

Kierán Suckling
