All of us at the Connecticut Democratic
Party are beyond thrilled that President-elect Joe Biden and Vice
President-elect Kamala Harris are officially headed to the White
House.

Throughout this year, CT Dems staff and volunteers led an
unprecedented statewide voter outreach operation. Thanks to our
shared efforts, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the first
candidates for any office to earn more than one million votes in
Connecticut!

Every Democrat in Connecticut should be deeply proud of this
historic victory -- the weight of the Trump presidency has been
heavy on our democracy, but voters have chosen new leadership
that will move our nation forward.

Thank you to everyone who pitched in to help make it happen!
Now, it's time to get to work -- and the incoming Biden-Harris
administration isn't wasting any time.

Today, they released their seven-point plan to beat COVID-19 by
ensuring that all Americans have access to regular, reliable, and
free testing, that personal protective equipment (PPE)
distribution problems are permanently solved, the effective,
equitable distribution of treatments and vaccines, and more.

This pandemic is just one of the many enormous challenges we
face as a nation, but together, we will overcome these challenges
and build a better future for all of us.
