It’s official: We won Arizona’s First Congressional District! One of the most competitive House districts in the state. And we won thanks to you.

It is the honor of my lifetime to serve Arizona families in Congress. I’m ready to continue working to get things done on affordable health care, lowering prescription drug prices, cleaning up Washington, and supporting our tribal communities.

I want to take a moment to thank all of my incredible staff, volunteers, and supporters who made this win possible, including my wife Pat and all of our wonderful children and grandchildren.

I also want to thank my opponent, Tiffany Shedd, for a hard-fought race that gave the people of Arizona’s First Congressional District a choice.

Whether or not folks supported me in this election, I will fight for everyone in Arizona’s First District. I will continue to be an independent and bipartisan voice you can count on to work across the aisle and solve problems.

There is so much work to be done. This election was only the beginning. Now we need to take our victory and turn it into legislation and action!

I look forward to all the things we can accomplish when we work together.
