Good morning Community,

We're starting the week feeling extra grateful for the grassroots organizers who continue to lead us toward transformative change. We all have opportunities to play a role in local movements, and our 2021 Giving Project just might be the right opportunity for YOU.

Did you know that the application process is still open? The 2021 Giving Project cohort will be an online experience from February to June 2021. We’re looking for 20 people to be part of this year’s cohort who are ready to dig in digitally and raise resources in their networks for BIPOC-led organizations advancing justice in Minnesota. The priority deadline for applications is coming up at 5 p.m. Central on November 20, 2020. BIPOC, LGBTQ people, and low- or no-wealth individuals are especially encouraged to apply.

Are you interested in being part of the 2021 Giving Project cohort? Good. Please join our third and final information session of the year on Zoom this Thursday, November 12 at 7 p.m. to meet Headwaters staff and Giving Project alumni! Learn more about the model and get your questions answered before you apply. RSVP now!

Can’t make one of these dates, but still interested? Contact Allison Johnson Heist for more information or learn more about our last cohort.

In Solidarity,
Headwaters Staff
