The Pledge to the People of the World that we placed as a full-page ad in The New York Times today could not be more timely. While Biden won the election as of Saturday, Trump continues to spew baseless conspiracy theories and refuses to concede that he lost. In fact, he has continued to purge the government of anyone perceived to be disloyal to him, ominously including Defense Secretary Esper today.
A cornered fascist can be the most vicious - this is still an incredibly dangerous moment.
As more people process the past week and use the term "fascist" to describe this president, we need to intervene.
