Don’t give up! Don’t give in!
Action items for the week may change as we get more information, so one of the most important things we can ask you to do is to open every email that you get from us!
Information and calls to action are coming at us fast and furious and we need to get them to you all as soon as we can. So, open those emails!
Note: in order to share the links below, simply open the link, and copy the URL address, and then paste it wherever it is that you are sharing it.
OPEN & READ EMAILS YOU GET FROM US As noted above, if you aren’t reading our emails, you will not see updated information and action items. Some of them are time-sensitive, so it is imperative that you are looking at the emails we are sending.
LET US KNOW IF YOU’RE WILLING TO SHOW UP We have a post-election “Protect the Vote” action survey for you to fill out, if you haven’t already. We need to know if you can organize rallies, or attend rallies, and where you live. There may be other surveys later about other activities that you can help with, so keep an eye out for that!
CHECK THE RALLY/EVENT PAGE OFTEN FOR UPDATES Rallies are getting planned and announced so quickly that rather than send an email every time a new one is organized, we are posting them on our Protect the Vote 2020 page, so please bookmark the page and check it often. You don’t want to miss out on an event in your area/state to show your support for President Trump and America!
Make Real Civics Education a Priority Again First, read the following article from Heritage Foundation’s Election Law Reform Initiative and Senior Legal Fellow, Hans A. von Spakovsky: Why Safeguarding Our Elections Matters. He wrote it on November 1, 2020. Then, depending on the ages of your kids/grandkids, have them read it, read it to them, or use the three key takeaways at the top of the article to sum it up for them. There is a video embedded in the article that you can watch with your kids or grandkids as well.
This first article is a good introduction into why election integrity is important and how election fraud undermines our freedoms.
Second, read the following article by Hans about why mail-in voting is such a problem: The Risks of Mail-In Voting.
This second article explains the specific problems with mail-in voting that we are now seeing unfold before our very eyes.
Third, tell them a little about what is happening right now, in the real world. Depending on their ages, you can tell them just a little or have a deep and full discussion. Remember that little kids are not equipped to handle all of the details and do not understand it all, so do not burden them with worry and anxiety at young ages that they cannot handle. Do use this as time to teach them about what is right and that right now, something is wrong.
In liberty,
