,
This presidential election was astounding and a true test of our democracy. With so much on the line, we are thrilled to congratulate Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on their victory.
Now, it’s time to get to work.
I have dedicated decades of my life to solving hunger - and I know the tangible steps we need to take to make ending hunger a reality. In order to achieve the top goal of the Biden/ Harris Administration -- healing the nation and bringing us all together -- the nation must end U.S. hunger and ensure access to nutritious food for all. Based on Hunger Free America’s decades of effective direct service and grassroots advocacy, as well as polling data from low-income Americans across races and geographical locations, I have laid out my plan for ending all domestic hunger by 2028. It can be done and is necessary for creating a country that works for all of us. CLICK HERE to read my policy brief>>>

In short, the factors that come into play when considering this ongoing hunger crisis are only growing in number and severity. We need to address job losses, healthcare coverage, and lack of government funding. Ending domestic hunger is a prerequisite to improving public education, rebuilding our economy, strengthening the middle class, reducing racial disparities, and enacting meaningful criminal justice reform. These were already pressing issues pre-pandemic, but Covid-19 has made matters worse.
I have outlined the executive and legislative steps the next administration can take to put us on the right track, and I want people across the country to see it.
Read my plan now to see how we can end hunger and create a country that works for everyone.
Thank you, Joel Berg
P.S. Can you chip in today to help us get our policy proposal the attention it needs to set these plans in motion?
