What’s going to keep you warm this winter? For many refugees, not much at all. UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Neil Gaiman is asking you to #DrawForRefugees and help provide refugees with warmth this winter.

#DRAWFORREFUGEES

Last year, Gaiman wrote a poem – What You Need to be Warm - inspired by your words and memories of winter. This poem was knitted into a beautiful scarf, which is representative of the thousands of winter aid items that UNHCR delivers each year to help refugees survive the cold.

Instead of words this year, we need your drawings. Choose from one of seven images in the poem and illustrate it—you don’t need to be an artist you just need a pen, paper and a creative spark.

Submit your drawings online before midnight UTC 12 November and your work could be featured in a film version of What You Need to be Warm.

We look forward to seeing what you create!

P.S. Every year winter presents life-threatening challenges for refugee families struggling to keep warm and feed their families. We are so grateful for the ongoing support of people like you who are donating to ensure that families are not left out in the cold.
