Washington, D.C. -- RightNOW Women
PAC is thrilled to
congratulate the record number of Republican women who will be serving
in the 117th Congress. While several races are still too close to
call, one thing is clear: 2020 is the Year of the Republican Woman!
Republican women are on track to more than double their ranks in the
House -- breaking the previous record for women members of the GOP
conference.
“While we wait for every legal
ballot to be counted, there is one clear victory to be celebrated,
right now — the historic number of Republican women who have been
elected to Congress,” said RightNOW Women PAC Co-Chair
Jean Card. “We can’t wait to
see them as inspiring, effective legislators in 2021 and beyond —
building coalitions, leading on the issues that matter most to their
constituents, and fighting for America.”
“The 2020 election has proven that
Republican women are powerful candidates — able to shatter liberal
rhetoric, hold seats as incumbents, and flip seats as challengers,”
added RightNOW Co-Chair Ariel Judah. “The results
speak for themselves: With more Republican women on the ballot, our
party wins. We also want to congratulate Congresswoman Elise Stefanik
on her big victory and thank her for her tireless efforts to recruit
these amazing candidates. E-PAC, Winning For Women, VIEW PAC, Maggie's
List, and many other groups strongly supported women this cycle. This
is proof that when women come together and support one another, we can
achieve great things. Our work is not done, and we look forward to
electing more women to Congress in 2022.”
RightNOW Women PAC was proud
to endorse and invest our resources in 19 GOP women candidates in the
2020 cycle.
Congratulations to the Republican
women of 2020; you are what’s right with America, right
now.
