The presidential election results are finally in, and we congratulate President-elect Biden on his election to the highest office in the nation.

With the arrival of President-elect Biden, we will have the opportunity to rebuild from the wreckage of an administration that spent four years assaulting every protection for our air, lands, wildlife, and climate and people. We must seize this moment and save our planet’s future.

Through all the uncertainty of the last four years, we thank you and our partners for your continued commitment in this fight.

We will be here — with you by our side — to work with this administration. And just as we have with every administration of every party, we will not shy away from holding our government accountable using the power of the law.

It’s worth repeating — the election is over, but our collective fight to defend our planet and our most impacted communities is not. We know the climate crisis doesn’t end after the election, nor our fight against environmental racism. Earthjustice is prepared and determined to work toward our shared vision of a just and sustainable future.

This is not the time to rest. Until our planet is healthy and safe, we will never rest.
