Two years ago, I was elected to serve the good folks of California’s 39th by a margin of just 8,000 votes -- most of which didn’t swing the ballot returns in our favor until a week after Election Day. This year, the difference is likely to be even less than that.

So I know what to expect this time around. And I know the importance of working to ensure that every vote is counted this week (and longer, if necessary)!
