Hey John -

Congratulations to President-elect Joseph R. Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala D. Harris. It’s been a long week but this is a significant step towards progessive change we can make in this country and we hope you took the time yesterday and today to relax and celebrate. Let’s also remember that there is still work to be done and to thank the BIPOC organizers in key swing states such as Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania who made this victory possible.

In addition, we’d like to thank all our volunteers from these past several months. You worked around the clock this election cycle to ensure voters in key battleground states had their voices heard. With multiple phone banking and text banking opportunities each week in the months leading up to the election, AYD contacted more than 100,000 people. From Maine to Florida and all the way out to Arizona, we worked to build back a better future for our country with Biden at the helm. We’re not stopping there either. There is work to be done to help our fellow dems down in Georgia in the senatorial runoff races for Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnok. Keep an eye out for future events aimed at taking back the U.S. Senate.
