ICYMI: Chairman Pearce authored an Op-Ed in the Alamogordo Daily News on Democrat State House Speaker Brian Egolf's power grab to gerrymander New Mexico's 2nd Congressional District to favor the Democrat Party after Yvette Herrell's victory.
Speaker Egolf cannot handle a Republican representing New Mexico in Congress and wants to take power away from the people by re-drawing the maps. The people spoke on Tuesday for who they want representing them in Congress and that is Yvette Herrell. We must ensure our government represents all New Mexicans fairly.
