Yesterday, we won back the White House! Today, we’re all breathing a sigh of relief as the end of Donald Trump’s presidency is now in sight.

While we all hoped for a better night down ballot on Tuesday, we’re nothing but proud of the unprecedented effort so many of you helped us mobilize to put the most valuable state chambers in play for the first time in decades. We must continue pushing into tough GOP turf in key state legislatures in an effort to hold them accountable, expand representation, and fight for every critical foothold of power in our system.

As Democrats continue to overcome years of Republican fundraising advantages and as we build up progressive infrastructure in states like Texas, Florida and Arizona, it's essential Democrats ensure legislative candidates are running the competitive campaigns needed to win.

We’ve fought hard the past few years and our fight is not over.

We’ll continue shining a light on these key races that have the power to transform our political landscape. Today, we celebrate the end of the Trump presidency. Tomorrow, we look to the future and the continued fight for our democracy.
