We won the White House and defended our Democratic majority in the House -- but in order to restore our democracy, we need to take the Senate back from Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Republican lackeys who abandoned their oath to the Constitution to protect Trump.

My Democratic colleagues and I will do everything in our power to advance President Biden’s agenda and fight back against GOP obstruction in the House. But a democracy-affirming majority in the House can only do so much to protect against a cowardly, grift-affirming majority in the Senate.

So today, I’m mobilizing Team Casten to support Democrat Raphael Warnock as he gears up to take on Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler in a special January run-off election that could decide control of the Senate:

Mitch isn’t going to change. Despite historic turnout to elect President Biden and a clear mandate for the Democratic platform, he’ll use his position as Majority Leader to obstruct all efforts to move our country forward.

We can’t allow him to continue thwarting democracy. We’re going to flip the damn Senate.
