As we wait for President-elect Biden to address the nation for the first time, we celebrate this victory for and because of our community, as it becomes clear that youth of color in key states across the country helped deliver this victory.
Leveraging our own voices and telling our own stories, we reached over 58 million people through digital ads in target states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, and more. Everything we did in the lead up to the election was built off the momentum our movement sparked during the primaries — pushing Joe Biden and other candidates to commit to protections for our communities in the first 100 days of their presidency.
The Biden-Harris administration has a mandate from youth, Latinx, and Black voters. And it will be because of this team that they will deliver on bold, progressive solutions that drove voters to the polls. Our work starts right now.
