Washington Post: "A top White House coronavirus adviser sounded alarms ... about a new and deadly phase in the [coronavirus] health crisis, pleading with top administration officials for 'much more aggressive action,' even as President Trump continues to assure rallygoers that the nation is 'rounding the turn' on the pandemic."

Dr. Deborah Birx, the estranged coordinator of the White House coronavirus task force, just released an internal report that contradicts each and every one of Trump's baseless lies about the coronavirus pandemic.

But Dr. Birx's urgent message has fallen on deaf ears in an administration that prioritizes one man's ego over science and truth. Even more alarming? Americans are buying into the fiction, believing that the pandemic is essentially over as Trump claims -- even with dramatically rising case numbers.

You know that Trump has already given up on getting this pandemic under control.
