Donald Trump warned us all that he would try to invalidate our ballots in the courts -- we shouldn’t be surprised that’s now exactly what he’s doing.
But we have the chance to put an end to Trump’s legal campaign: POLITICO reports that “small-dollar contributors could play a critical role in funding legal efforts” to push back against Trump.
Grassroots donors have had a HUGE impact already this cycle. But we do have our work cut out for us: Joe Cotchett, Democratic attorney and member of Joe Biden’s Lawyers Committee, predicts that “there are going to be individual lawsuits in each state. … It’s going to become a legal nightmare.”
Friend, right now, we don’t have the kind of funds we need to land a courtroom knockout punch against the president and his antidemocratic efforts. Not after the race we just ran.
