I’m proud to share that the Associated Press has called our victory in California’s 49th District!

To my wife, Chrissy, I want to thank you for being my strongest supporter. To my kids, my parents, our incredible staff and volunteers -- this victory would not have been possible without you.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you personally, John. I am honored to have earned a second term as your representative in Congress, and I can’t thank you enough for supporting my campaign through thick and thin.

With Joe Biden and Kamala Harris headed to the White House, I’m hopeful about the future. But as you know -- winning is just step one. Now we face the critical work of getting our country back on track.

That means finally advancing a real agenda to crush COVID-19. It means rebuilding our economy to support the working people in this country. And it means continuing to tackle issues like the climate crisis, health care access, and education.
