Hey John -
Dan Crenshaw here.
I am so grateful for the outpouring of support for my re-election to Congress. Thank you to everyone who made this victory possible. In 2018, we won by 7 pts. This year, we won by nearly 14 pts. I look forward to two more years and all the work we have yet to accomplish.

THANK YOU
This has been a long and grueling campaign for myself and for Republicans across the country. But you have been by my side through all of it.
Republicans defied the polls and the media narrative that there would be a monstrous blue wave here in Texas and across the country. But that never materialized, thanks to the hard work of people like you.
Your support has allowed me to get my message to voters in Texas and win their support for another term in Congress. With your help, that message resonated with people across the political spectrum in the Second District of Texas.
That message was simple but powerful: America is good and worth protecting.
Thank you for helping me spread that message.

DEMOCRATS FAIL ONCE AGAIN TO FLIP TEXAS BLUE
We heard it in 2018 with Beto O’Rourke. We heard it even louder in the run up to 2020: this was the year that Texas was FINALLY going to turn blue.
But that never happened.
Democrats failed to pick up a single congressional seat. They also failed to flip the Texas State House. No matter how many millions liberals like Nancy Pelosi and Mike Bloomberg poured into our state to spread falsehoods, Texas voters sent a resounding message to Democrats: we don’t want to live under your failed policies in our state.
Texans like living in the best business climate in the country. We like our low taxes, minimal regulations, our energy sector, and our prosperity.
That is why Democrats failed - once again - to make inroads in our state. We kept Texas free and kept Texas red.
I am so proud of all of our efforts to protect Texas this election.

ELECTION INTEGRITY IS CRITICAL
The integrity of an election should be self-evident, meaning the rules and process should be firm, simple, transparent, and allow for minimal uncertainty or doubt.
Many states have failed this standard, and it shouldn’t be a partisan issue to demand that every irregularity be investigated.
With a truly secure and trusted election system, the outcries and complaints of politicians and pundits wouldn’t matter. It would just be noise.
Instead, the standards have been loosened so irresponsibly that every complaint could, in theory, be valid. Proper evidence should always be the standard, but we must investigate every irregularity nonetheless.
It should not be partisan to suggest calmly that investigations occur and the court process plays out.
Americans need to be sure of the winner and loser. The winners should especially want that.
