We did it!

Because of you, we've flipped Arizona and defeated Donald Trump and Martha McSally. This is a historic victory for our country, and all of us have played a huge role in it.

This could never have happened without the grassroots support you have given throughout the year. In a time that is both incredibly trying for Americans and filled with political anxiety, our state was willing to buck decades of precedent to stand up for justice, equality, and democracy. It is the first time since 1996 that Arizona has voted for a Democrat for President. But this year, we rejected the hate and divisiveness that has consumed the Republican Party.

All of this took incredible willpower and courage, and we thank you for standing by us in this struggle to maintain the progressive ideals of American democracy.

Now that this election has ended, we need to begin looking forward. This victory in itself won't bring everything back to normal at once, but it has brought promise. There will certainly be times of political frustration ahead, but we hope with this victory we have laid the groundwork for a more peaceful and prosperous future for all Arizonans.

Again, thank you so much for all of your hard work and support. It will be remembered that in the face of hate and racial division, Arizonans chose love and unity.
