John, we can finally take a moment to celebrate President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris! History has been made: Donald Trump is a one-term president. Kamala Harris will be the first female, first Black, and first South Asian Vice President. And together, Biden and Harris represent the strongest gun safety ticket in history.

This was not inevitable. Every phone call made, every door knocked, every dollar given, every march attended, every conversation with family and friends and neighbors made a difference. This would not have been possible without the dedication and work from advocates like you. Thank you for never giving up.

There is still a lot we don't know, about races across the country and in our own communities. But no matter what happens, this election has shown that we've still got a lot of work to do. This weekend we celebrate, we rest, and we recharge. On Monday, we get back to work.
