Friend, This is the moment we have all been waiting for. The voters have spoken, and they have chosen Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to be our next President and Vice President.

Despite a pandemic and unprecedented obstacles, a record number of Americans voted and Joe Biden received more votes than any other presidential candidate in history. And Kamala Harris just made history as the first female, Black and Asian American Vice President-elect.

This victory is a testament to every single American who marched through cities to stand against injustice, every frontline worker who sacrificed so much, every volunteer who gave their time, every grassroots donor who pitched in what they could, and every voter who made their voice heard at the ballot box.

Make no mistake: this victory belongs to you, the people.

But the work is far from over, and there's no doubt Trump will attempt to throw some last-minute punches on his way out the door. Regardless of what the next weeks hold in store for us, we should be proud of the movement we've built across Michigan that carried us to victory.

Take a breath. Celebrate. And then let's get to work uniting our country and building back better.

Onward together,
