We did it, together!

The journey to this victory hasn't always been easy -- we battled (and are still battling) an economic crisis, a global pandemic, and political disarray.

But today we can reap the rewards of our hard work and proudly call Joe Biden our president-elect and Kamala Harris our vice president-elect.

We kicked off 2020 with our historic First in the West Caucus, and we're ending it by finally firing Donald Trump. In between, countless volunteers, supporters, and activists in our state organized to flip the White House and make Donald Trump a one term president -- confirming Nevada's status as a key battleground state.

Our diverse electorate came out in record numbers to make their voices heard -- and the country heard us.

Thank you for making your voice heard. Our country is made great not by inciting fear and division, but by believing in America's foundational promise for a better tomorrow and fighting every day to keep that promise alive.

It's true: the last few months have been hectic and tense, but we were ready to take on the fight to keep Nevada blue and ensure every vote is counted because of our supporters. You made today's victory -- America's victory -- possible.

You helped choose the direction for the next four years of our lives -- and I am so excited about the path we are about to embark on.
