Wow -- we did it!!

I am laughing and crying all at the same time about what we just
accomplished.

We waited four painful years for this opportunity. And thanks to our
resilience and hard work -- especially in recent weeks-- I'm more hopeful
for what lies ahead.

Finally, we can rally around the issues that matter most to us: equal
access to life-saving medicines, saving our planet, trans rights, police
reform, immigration rights, and more.

Ahhhhh, I can’t really believe it, John.

Looking ahead: there’s going to be much work to be done, and we’re going
to need you every step of the way. Over the next few weeks, we’ll need to
fight like hell to protect our communities against violence and
retribution from a furious, desperate Trump administration. And beyond
that, we’ll be working overtime to push a Biden administration to start
reforming the racist and discriminatory structures of our societies and
undoing the horrific damage to our democracy.

So stay tuned for actions in the coming days to protect the results, stand
up to a desperate Republican lame-duck Congress, and fight for a
progressive Biden cabinet.

But before we go full speed ahead, 2020 continues to remind us that it’s
important we celebrate our wins and the things that give us hope.
