Dear friend,

Today, we can finally breathe a collective sigh of relief. It's official: the people have elected Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the next President and Vice President of the United States!

It's been an excruciating four years. The Trump-Pence administration has inflicted grave harm to reproductive freedom and on marginalized communities.

Today, we should all take a moment to relish the fact that the horror of this administration is coming to an end -- thanks to advocates like you who voted, phone banked, and worked hard to change direction for this country.

And then, we continue our fight. From the damage of the last four years to a hostile Supreme Court to the fact that millions of voters -- including millions of white women -- refused to repudiate this administration, there is so much work to be done. We need to dismantle white supremacy, end voter suppression, and fight for reproductive freedom for all communities.

We at NIRH and NIRH Action Fund are ready to get to work to protect and advance reproductive freedom on the state and local levels by partnering with advocates and organizations across the country to build power from the ground up.
