The presidential race has officially been called -- Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are headed to the White House!

In the midst of a global pandemic, and in spite of rampant voter suppression and an outright attempt from President Trump to steal this election, the American people stepped up to fight for the soul of our country and won.

They voted for science and facts over conspiracy theories and propaganda.

They voted for decency, empathy, and acceptance over small-minded hatred and division.

They voted to protect the rights of immigrants and our LGBTQ brothers and sisters. They voted to defend RBG’s legacy and a woman’s right to choose. They voted for high-quality affordable health care for all and climate action NOW.

Because of folks like you, Joe Biden received more votes than any presidential candidate in US history -- and will have the first woman of color elected as vice president serving beside him.

We have a historic mandate from the people, and I couldn’t be more excited to have a Democratic administration to partner with as we work in Congress to build our country back better so that every American can thrive.

It’s been a long four years, and our nation is facing real, immediate problems -- but I believe that Joe has the heart to unite our country and the experience and tenacity to move us forward.
