The California Legislature ended the 2019 session early Saturday morning. The Democrats managed to push through a few more bills that will greatly affect your day to day life.

Democrats in both the Assembly and Senate have passed Assembly Bill 5 (AB 5). A ridiculous piece of legislation that slashes the amount of independent contracting allowed by the state of California.

Don't think AB 5 will effect you? Think again! Your $10 Uber ride will likely skyrocket in price. The price of your haircut will also likely jump. These are just a few of the industries that California Democrats have targeted in Assembly Bill 5.
