Well, Swing Left, it’s official: we beat Trump. Joe Biden will be the next President of the United States. Kamala Harris will be the next Vice President of the United States, a historic first for women, South Asians, and the Black community.

And there is one big reason for this: you.

This election was obviously much closer than most of us were hoping or anticipating. But it is in exactly these close elections where your grassroots organizing, volunteering, and donating make all the difference. Simply put, without your efforts, Donald Trump would have been re-elected to a second term and the United States would be firmly on the path to no longer being a democracy.

There is much to say and digest, but much more to do. We will have not just one, but two Senate seats in Georgia going to a runoff on January 5th, with control of the Senate on the line. We will be in touch soon about how you can have the greatest impact there.

In the meantime, we wanted to share the toplines of the amazing work you all did this cycle. You:

• Raised more than $25 million for candidates and civic organizations in key states.
• Made more than 7.8 million phone calls to voters in battleground states.
• Wrote more than 18.9 million letters to voters in key states, in partnership with Vote Forward and the Big Send coalition.

Our job doesn’t end here. If we’ve learned anything over the past four years, it’s that this is the work of a lifetime. We are so grateful for your dedication to building a better country, and we’re eager to stay in the fight with you, rain or shine, election after election.

So take a moment to savor the victory. It has been a hard four years. But we won back the House. We won back the Presidency. And tomorrow, we will start the fight for the Senate anew, and keep working bit by bit for that brighter future the people of our country deserve.
