Listen, tonight is a pretty important fundraising deadline for our growing campaign for U.S. Senate. Right now, the public polling says we have a one-point lead in this election, but the polls are fleeting -- and Republicans are already spending huge amounts of dark money to win this election.

Since Cal isn’t taking money from corporate PACs, contributions from people like you are the reason we have a fighting chance in this race. I need to start making some pretty big budget decisions this week, so I’m asking you today:
