Governor Hogan is teaming up with Democratic Senator Joe Manchin “for a $1 million-plus national ad campaign” from No Labels, urging patience and respect for the electoral process as votes continue to be counted. 

Governor Hogan is also discussing how voters overwhelmingly rewarded “Common Sense Conservatives” who rejected the extremes of both parties and were willing to work across the aisle. Nearly all of the candidates who Governor Hogan campaigned for either won or are currently leading their races by large margins, including Vermont Gov. Phil Scott, U.S. Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, U.S. Rep. John Katko of upstate New York, U.S. Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska and U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania.

Axios reported that Governor Hogan is teaming [link removed] up with Democratic Senator Joe Manchin “for a $1 million-plus national ad campaign” from No Labels, urging patience and respect for the electoral process as votes continue to be counted.  

“The world is watching. What happens in the coming days and weeks will define America for decades to come,” Hogan says in a statement launching the campaign. “I know emotions are running high, but we need to keep faith in the voters and our democracy ... Let the process work, just like it has every four years for over 200 years.”

Governor Hogan appeared on Washington Post Live Election Daily with Robert Costa to discuss the election results.

“Democracy Is Not A Partisan issue:” Governor Hogan Issues Election Day Message With Maryland Bipartisan Leaders ​

Governor Hogan joined Maryland Democratic House Speaker Jones and Democratic Senate President Bill Ferguson in issuing a bipartisan message to Maryland voters. 

In the public service announcement, Governor Hogan applauds Marylanders for “coming out to vote in record numbers at our polling places, where it is safe and public health protocols are in place.” According to Governor Hogan, “Democracy is not a partisan issue. We are one, united Maryland.”
