The will of the voters is clear.
This weekend, we celebrate.
Friend,
As we continue to count every vote, the will of the voters is
becoming ever more clear and we are winning. We have spoken in
this election in record numbers to say that our future in this country
is intertwined with the thriving of all people.
Saturday, our movements are gathering all across the country
for the Voters Decided National Day of
Celebration.
This Shabbat arrives as a time of joy at the end of a long
week and a long four years. Hundreds of events have been
organized by our movements this weekend — we’re inviting everyone to
join us in the streets to joyously mark this historic moment. If it’s
within your Shabbat observance and COVID practices, you’ll
find fellow Jews and neighbors out this weekend at an event near
you.
Note: We know that attending an
event on Saturday is not within everyone’s Shabbat practice. If it is
in your practice, please join us on the streets or from your homes
tomorrow. If it isn’t, we can’t wait to celebrate with you on Sunday
and in the days, weeks, and years to come.
When future generations ask us what we did in 2020, we will tell
them that we were the ones who rose up with our neighbors and demanded
freedom, safety and belonging for all of us, no
exceptions.
Join us on November 7 as we join together with our neighbors to
ensure that every vote counts and get to work building a country where
all of us are free and safe.
This
Saturday, we will take to the streets to celebrate what we've won and
prepare for what's next. Find an event near you now.
