Hey there -- we've seen in these past few days and past few hours, that who's ahead in a race can change quickly -- literally overnight.

That's why we need to count each and every vote. We need to make sure that the folks representing us next year are the ones who actually received the lion's share of the vote.

My race will be decided by a handful of votes. We're down by fewer than 5,000 votes right now -- and, with the number of ballot still out there, we can make that up. But it will be close.

The only way to know who CA-48 has chosen to represent them is to count every vote cast. That's what CA-48 deserves, and that's what our democracy deserves.
