John,
Thanks to you, and the highest turnout of voters in a century, we the
people are on the verge of electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris into the
highest offices in the country. This victory is because of our movements.
We know that bringing Biden and Harris across the finish line isn’t an
easy feat to achieve. We want to pause and acknowledge the barriers that
we’ve had to overcome together—including voter suppression, COVID-19, the
worst recession in United States history, climate catastrophes, and more.
Despite these challenges, we saw so many of you rise up for our democracy
and take meaningful action in your community by texting and phone banking
climate voters, volunteering as poll monitors, and talking to your friends
and family about what's at stake for the climate in this election. We are
so thankful to each and every one of you.
That’s why, we’re inviting you, John, to join us at a

Here’s a summary of what we accomplished with your help this past Election
Day:
* We elected new climate champions into office: Jamaal Bowman (NY-16);
Cori Bush (MO-01); Mondaire Jones (NY-17); Marie Newman (IL-03);
Jabari Brisport (NY State Senate-25); and many more.
* We re-elected climate champions: Deb Haaland (NM-01); Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14); Ayanna Pressley (MA-07); Ilhan Omar (MN-05);
Rashida Tlaib (MI-13); Pramila Jayapal (WA -07); and many others.
* We saw the highest voter turnout in a century. Young Black, Asian and
Latino voters supported Biden by margins of 76, 69 and 51 points,
respectively.^1 In Georgia and North Carolina, 90% or more of young
Black voters voted for Biden.^2
There will be bumps in the road ahead, but as we reflect on the past few
days, we are reminded that anything is possible when we come together.

This weekend, we celebrate. Next week we get to work to hold the
soon-to-be Biden and Harris Administration accountable to our growing
movement.
