Friend,

The immigration system in the United States can be complex and confusing.

There are laws, regulations, and bureaucratic practices that are difficult to fully understand. Meanwhile, the Trump Administration has made things worse by changing our immigration system and making the U.S. less open to immigrants than ever.

To help clear up some of the confusion, we at America's Voice created a new "Immigration 101" video series, designed to provide a basic understanding of all things immigration.

In this video series, we will:

Debunk common immigration myths and misconceptions

Define often-used immigration-related terms, like "TPS" and "USCIS"

Give an overview of the asylum process

Explain the immigration court system

Provide a history of immigration laws in the U.S.

...and much more!

We're hoping this video series will be useful whether you're new to immigration policy and politics or whether you've been an advocate for years and looking for new explanatory tools.

So far, we have three videos published in our new series, with plans to create many more. You can check out the first video here, which gives a preview of the whole project. [link removed]

Or you can go straight to video #2, which debunks the 5 most common immigration myths. [link removed]

Then, check out this ⬇️video where we define some of the most common and important terms used in the immigration conversation.

U.S. policies are not just about who gets to come and stay in our country. Immigration policy affects everyone, because it is about who we are as a nation and who we want to be.

So if you like the videos, be sure to click that "SUBSCRIBE" button on our YouTube channel so you can stay tuned for more.

And if you have any ideas for future Immigration 101 videos, reply to this email and let us know.

We can't wait to share more information with you. Stay tuned!

Thanks for watching,
