The counting’s not done yet, even as news desks across the country are starting to make their calls on the results of the presidential election. This is our democracy at work, as it is meant to work: making sure that every vote is accounted for and counted as cast.
 
As the counting eventually turns to checking the results in Pennsylvania and other states, Verified Voting will be there: providing hard-working election officials with guidance in conducting rigorous post-election audits, and helping the public understand what the outcome of those audits shows. We’ve said all along that transparency (including opportunities for observation) would be critical in pushing back on baseless disinformation attempts to sow doubt on the integrity of our elections - and we’re seeing that play out now. We will keep working to ensure that any questions of irregularity are answered with hard data and evidence, up until the last votes have been certified.
 
There’s still a long road ahead of us - as we’ve always known there would be. Your support remains vital and deeply appreciated as we enter this next phase of vote counting and checking. But join us in taking a moment to appreciate how far we’ve come to make this level of accountability possible... and then let’s get back to work.
