The polls have closed, but there is still work to do. We are a nation divided. The vote count continues, but one thing is clear. Either we allow polarization to block progress on all the things we care about, or we dare to step out of our comfort zone.

It is no coincidence that my TED talk debuted this week. At the heart of my talk is a timely claim: large-scale change requires large-scale movements — and that means taking the radical step of choosing common ground.

When this election is finally settled, we will still be living inside the lines we've drawn around us. My TED talk reveals the secret behind the work we do at Dream Corps: when we come together, we can create massive change that both helps and heals at the same time.
