Candidates on the Election
-
Donald Trump addressed the election during a press conference on Thursday from the White House. He said, “If you count the legal votes, I easily win. If you count the illegal
votes, they can try to steal the election from us. If you count the votes that came in late, we’re looking to them very strongly, but a lot of votes came in late.”

Ballotpedia is tracking litigation filed by the Trump campaign related to the presidential election. Two cases in Georgia and Michigan were dismissed on Thursday. In Pennsylvania, a state appellate court ruled candidates’ representatives could observe all aspects of the counting
process from within 6 feet of election workers.

Joe Biden delivered remarks on the election from Wilmington, Delaware, on Thursday. He said, “Democracy is sometimes messy. It sometimes requires a little patience as well. But that patience has been rewarded now for more than 240 years with a system of governance that has been the envy of the world.”
