The Arlington Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Stephen Moret, President & CEO of Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP), will serve as the keynote speaker at the virtual 96th Annual Meeting on December 11. At VEDP, he has collaborated with state, regional, and local partners to craft an ambitious vision focused on transformational goals, including accelerating employment growth; enabling every region to grow; and moving Virginia back to the top of national business climate rankings. In addition, he led Virginia’s successful state-and-local team bid for Amazon’s HQ2; designed Virginia’s $1.1-billion Tech Talent Investment Program; and launched a world-class, custom workforce initiative, the Virginia Talent Accelerator Program. Previously he served as Secretary of Economic Development in Louisiana.

The Arlington Chamber of Commerce will host its 96th Annual Meeting virtually on Friday, December 11. A key event for the Arlington business community, the 96th Annual Meeting will celebrate the Chamber's accomplishments of 2020, while looking ahead to what's to come in 2021. The event will also include the presentation of the prestigious Chair's Award, President's Award, and Committee of the Year Award.
