Healthcare TV for respiratory patients
As part of a pilot scheme, healthcare staff in Oldham will be trialling a new TV-linked virtual healthcare system, which will help them care for people in their homes. A cohort of respiratory patients will be given a set top box that sits on top of their TVs that will connect their TV with carers, health professionals and even family. This means they can have home-based support using their usual remote control.

As you are aware, the government has ordered certain businesses and venues to close until December. Flu
People who are 'at risk' of flu are already at higher risk from contracting coronavirus. So, if you are eligible don't forget to get your flu jab this year. You can get the flu jab at your GP surgery or a pharmacy offering the service. If you are pregnant please contact your GP in the first instance, but your jab can be administered by your midwifery service if you wish. Please note, anyone can get the flu jab, but only people in an ‘at risk’ group are entitled to a free jab through the NHS.
