Challenges to your freedom don’t stop because of election uncertainty

Dear John,

Across the country, Americans are anxiously awaiting the results of the 2020 presidential election. Alliance Defending Freedom team members are no exception, and we join with you in praying for God’s will to be done.

While we don’t yet know the outcome of the election, we do know these three things:

God is in control, regardless of who is in the White House.
Our God-given freedoms must continue to be protected.
Now is the time to step up and defend them.

Here at ADF, we are choosing to focus on these certainties during an incredibly uncertain time.

The reality is that the challenges to your religious liberty, free speech, the sanctity of life, and freedom of conscience are not on hold. They continue even as we await the outcome of the election. And they will continue after the election.

In fact, here are just a few cases where your freedom is being challenged right now. (If you have kids or grandkids in public school, be sure to read about the case of the third grader forced to take off her “Jesus Loves Me” mask.)

John, God has called every one of us to this battle for such a time as this. And we can be confident that the Lord will guide us through whatever challenges and opportunities lie ahead as we work to defend your God-given and constitutionally protected freedoms.
