If we lose these runoff elections and Mitch McConnell continues in his current role, he will block nominations to the Biden administration.
And we know he will do everything in his power to make President Biden forget his campaign promises to challenge big money in politics and force Biden to appoint corporate oligarch friendly Secretaries of Defense, State, Treasury, Agriculture, and EPA.
Even more importantly, Mitch McConnell will block every single good policy you can imagine, from increasing the minimum wage to passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, fixing our cruel immigration policies, doing anything to stop the climate crisis, and on and on.
But, the good news is we can avoid that future by organizing to win in Georgia. We can write our fate, but it’s going to take perseverance and relentless organizing.
